Among other things, I am a visual artist, performance artist and a hoop dance artist.
I usually describe myself shortly just as contemporary artist.
For me there’s no big difference.
My artist self is the self of my inner child.
When I work with images, for example drawing, my style is childlike.
My world is sensitive, powerful, playful, experimental and calling into questions.
My working is largely intuitive.
Like a child, when I’m painting or dancing time ceace to exist for me.
All I have is feelings, colors and motions. Presence and flow.
Hoop dance and painting are both physical and visual arts.
In both, achieving flow requires technichal mastery and complete letting go of ones own mind.
When I paint, my tool is a paintbrush.
When I dance my tool is a hoop.
Lately I’ve been diving deep into searching movement in my paintings.
As a result my painting style has developed in more abstract ways.
